CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICY

When your appointment is scheduled, we set aside that time specifically for you. Because your services are GUARANTEED reservations, if you cancel or "no show" an appointment outside the required 48 hour notice to cancel, we will charge the card on file used to book your reservation if you no-show or cancel an appointment with less than 48 hours notice unless you have a sudden medical or unforseen legitimate emergency.  Reasons for same day cancellations absolutely do NOT include having to work late.  We do understand that sometimes it is necessary to re-schedule an appointment, however, in the event that you are unable to give at least 48 business hours of notice, a fee of 100% of the scheduled procedure(s) will be owed before we are able to rebook services for you. If you are a NEW client to Transformations Skin & Body Care, please schedule online, however, I will contact you personally before I confirm your appointment. Prepay is REQUIRED for all new clients at this time. We do require verification of intent to schedule and a valid credit card on file to hold a reservation. Additionally, all prepaid packages will result in the forfeit of one treatment from your package. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. As an alternative, I usually offer a ONE time only waiver for same day cancellations, however, in the event you choose to accept the waiver (no charge for same day cancellation) all future bookings must be scheduled and prepaid online.  Thanks for understanding this requirement. 

Please plan accordingly and add your appointments directly on your calendar, set up reminders, etc., in addition to the automatic reminders you receive via email and text from the booking site.  Please note that in order to ensure you canceled your appointment via the booking site that you receive a cancellation notice from us via text/email.  We do not allow "appointment holding" on the booking site. After (2) TWO consecutive reschedules or cancellations, we reserve the right to decline appointment requests via online booking and will only be able to offer same day appointments or add you to the cancellation list. You can easily manage your appointments by going to our booking site, clicking the upper right corner 'sign in' and following the on screen directions to manage your appointments.  Please contact me directly at (256) 783-2430 if you have issues with my online booking system. Due to an increase of last minute reschedule requests, I have disabled the reschedule feature online and you'll need to contact me directly if you wish to reschedule. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME AS I MAY NOT SEE EMAILS RIGHT AWAY WHILE WORKING WITH CLIENTS.

 

LATE POLICY

If you arrive after your appointment was scheduled to begin, you will be seen but only for the amount of time remaining. If you are 20 minutes late for a 20-minute procedure, this will be considered a missed appointment. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. 

 

CHILDREN POLICY

For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 18 may have a service without written parental consent. Also, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you into the treatment room while you are having a service. If a child under the age of 12 is on premises during the time of your treatment, they must be accompanied by an adult for supervision and remain in the lobby. We do not have the facilities to care for children. Our clients come to the spa to relax and we don't want to disturb our clients well-deserved time of relaxation in case your child is unable to remain quiet during services and feel it is best you make prior arrangements for your children prior to your appointment. We love children and hope you understand that we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment.  If you have any questions concerning our policy please feel free to contact Kimberly Handley at (256) 783-2430.  

 

PET POLICY

Per state Board regulation, only service animals are allowed at our establishment.

 

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

All sales of skin care and makeup products are final.  Pre-paid packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
